All That You Need To Know Regarding Education In The UAE Region

Recently the GCC Education Industry Report was published according to which the school going population in the UAE is constantly increasing and will be hitting the mark of 1.5 million in the next four years. For this drastic rise in the population of children, UAE needs to build at least 150 schools by 2022.

People living in the UAE have recently started focusing on receiving education more as compared to the older times. Hence, the need of schools has also risen. The student enrollment ratio has been growing at the rate of 3.4 percent and is currently 1.3 million. However, the constant growth will make it hit the mark of 1.5 million in no time. The new schools will include pre-primary schools, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, and vocational schools since the people have started to incline more towards the variety of education.

UAE government has been putting in a lot of efforts and completely focusing on the education sector of the country. The focus on the sector is clearly visible in the amount of budget which is being allocated to it every year. Government’s efforts have improved the quality of education in the region and it is being religiously maintained the quality of education in the UAE is the top best across the region and students have started migrating to the country on student visa. The government has been partnering up with the top best universities of the world and has been trying to open up branches of the prestigious universities across UAE.

UAE is among the leading providers in the education sector of the world. UAE has the highest number of international schools present. Dubai has the highest ranking of international schools. After Dubai, Abu Dhabi has the second highest ranking of international schools. Unlike Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia mostly has government schools and only 10% of the schools are affiliated with the private sector. The age bracket in the schools of UAE is as follow

The government of UAE has been making a lot of efforts for the education sector in the country. Previously the education sector was not much advanced and therefore the quality was not up to the mark.
